Hi there,
I have a big wish! For new users it is difficult to create a new group event.
The users find and see the events overview page with all events listened. This is totaly clear for all users. On the upper left side they also find a button Create Event. This is also clear. But on this way it is not possible to create a group event. The users are pressing the button and create an event with a wrong event type. I often have to explain how a group event can be created.
The way to create it, is not easy to find. At first, the user has to select a group first. Then on the left side is a link 'Event' to see the group events. After selecting the link, all group events are listened and a new button 'Create Event' on the upper right side appears. This is not intuitive.

I think following is much easier clear for all users.
1. The user creates an event from the common events overview page
2. The form to create an event appears
3. There is a custom field 'Event Type' where the user can select an open event, an invite only event or a closed event.
4. At this point, implement a new event type 'Grơup Event' please. If selected, a combo box with all groups inside where the current user is a member off can be enabled. The user can select a group and create the event.
This way it is more common and clear for all users to create a new group event.

I think it is a good idea isn't it?
If so, can you implement it with next version of ES?

Regards
Oliver
