hi ... jReviews have a cool new feature, called shortcodes: https://docs.jreviews.com/?title=JReviews:ShortCodes
this is perfect to include jReviews contents (listings or reviews) in easyblog posts, it is very handy and easy to use.
but the included contents of this shortcodes destroy the design of the module (i think it is not only me you could run in this problem). there for it would be good when the option in the modules "Remove HTML Tags" are turned on it could also kick out this shortcodes.

look at my screenshot, here you will see the output of an shortcode content from jReviews in the easyblogs latest blogs module.
this modification should of course done in all relevant modules where the option to remove HTML Tags is included: latest, topblogs and random posts module and so on
Hey n00bster,

It depends on how JReviews is processing these short codes. If they are being processed by system plugins, there is nothing we can do about this because system plugins run independently and most of the time, developers who write system plugins like this would just do a simple search / replace of these short codes based on the output of the page.

The only work around that I can think out of the box right now is for the plugin to be able to excluded from running on specific pages.

maybe change the execution order of the plugins. This has helped me in the past.

Reordering the plugins will not work if JReviews is using a system plugin to replace short codes with html tags. The only way to fix this is for the short code to be moved out of the intro text.

There is no way that EasyBlog is intelligent enough to know what shortcodes are available in the Joomla ecosystem.
