Hello,

we have some Users from germany (99%) and the Komento E-Mails are only in english. German Languagepack are installed.

Thanks and best regards
Klaus
Hello Claus,

Based from what I checked, German language for Komento is not fully translated. The language will fallback to English when the string is not exists in German language file. For example, I searched COM_KT_EMAILS_NEW_COMMENT_CONTENT in German's language file for Komento and its not exists.

Hi Klaus,

It appears no one volunteered to translate the new strings to German in Komento. You can take a look at the progress here.

If you want to contribute and are confident in your German translations, we can set you as a proofreader on CrowdIn.

Hello Raymond,

I would like to implement the German translation, since we have 99% of all users in the German-speaking area (DACH).

Best Regards
Klaus

Hey Klaus,

The German language in Komento is only 16% translated as you can see in CrowdIn. So you will still see many areas in english.
I would like to implement the German translation
Do you mean you want to contribute to the German translations? If yes, please provide me your username/email on CrowdIn so I can add you as a proofreader.

Hello,

now i have make some changes for E-Mail notification in the Language translation.
It was now a "mixed" with english and german, but on the translation-platform i set all translation correct.

"New Comment" i set to german - but is english in e-mail

"This is a notification to inform you that a new comment is posted on the site. " i set to german - but is english in e-mail

"You have opted to subscribe to a comment thread on our site. ..." i set to german - but is english in e-mail

"There is a new comment awaiting for you to moderate " i set to german - but is english in e-mail

"A new comment was submitted on the site which requires your attention: " i set to german - but is english in e-mail

Hi Klaus,

Changes made on CrowdIn are typically not reflected on the back-end language downloads until the next release of Komento.

Currently, you may download the file directly from CrowdIn and apply it on your site directory(attached). After download, you can also double the file to make sure the langauge constant is translated.
