Hi,

We're experiencing multiple email notifications being sent to each user as a result of a new blog post. Some users have received 4 or up to 8 additional notifications.

I see the issue mentioned in forums here but no solution is particularly specified. If you are fixing on a case-by-case basis, please find my information below.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Hey Alaina,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked in your site, it seems like you are still using very old version of Easyblog.

I have temporary disable this settings `send email on page load` from your site is because this is one of the possibility causing this send out duplicated email to user.

By the way, may I know do you have setup cronjob in your site yet? Because it would be best if you can setup the cronjob so that it will automatically send out the email notification to your site user every 10 minute or 30 minute and make your site load efficient.

If you need further assistance on this, you can provide us with your Cpanel access so we can help you configure cronjob for you.

It would be great if I could send cronjobs, I totally agree and understand.

It's not currently an option for me. We're on a school district website, I have no c-panel, and no one wants to be bothered with helping set up a cron-job for me. I have no direct access to the server other than FTP.

Is there anything else you can do to help?

If XTCronjob is still relying on Joomla's page load, it will still be problematic.
