Duplicate content and Diffrent Canonical

Hello
I Have very much DUblicate content in easy blog
if you check bellow link you can see when a post published in diffrent category
generate different canonival for every link
and in google webmaster tools i have very much duplicate content

i you check bellow link i have a different canonical in same article page source
i want set one canonical for them .

but its not working currectly
i installed canonical extention
but after install and check step by step with your document i cant see my duplicated url blogs

this extention cant help me for resoved this problem
i dont want check canonical for menu only - i want set a canonical in blogs and in my site .


Please help me for resoved this problem

Hey there,

In EasyBlog 5, you no longer need any extensions for canonical urls. They are already generated by EasyBlog automatically.

In your case, it seems like there are multiple menu items linking to the blog post. In order for me to be able to check this, I would need the back end and FTP access as well

It is true . I've assigned to each category a menu
But all entry content available from all categories menu

bellow link is front view component - and item id menu is = 1971

Hey Ebi,

Thanks for took your time explained again, It seems like your settings is configure correctly, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look of this issue?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

It seems like another duplicate canonical is defined from Joomla, I've modified on this file -> JoomlaFolder/plugins/system/sef/sef.php

There is a checking in the code that prevents the "default menu id" to be used for canonical urls. I am checking this internally as to why this was added but we'll fix this in the next release

i have more 6000 dublicate description and duplicate title
So far no one had reported this problem?
it is very bad for seo
