Downgrade user profile and next features

Hello!
If I have a user assigned to the profile A where he is allowed to have 100 friends, and I change his profile type to profile B where he is allowed to have 50 friends, what exactly will happen?

He loose his friends?

He will not lose his friends but he won't be able to add anymore new friends

The same is happening for groups and events? Eg if someone is connected with 50 groups and I downgrade him, he will keep his connections.

Am I right?
