Doubts about easysocial

Hello. I am trying to set a new site with easyblog (it is a big difficult) and now i wonder me if easysocial could be a good option also. I would like to know if there is a financial markets app for easysocial in order to create a comunity where users has your portolio with stocks and trading operations, maybe connected with yahoo financial quotes, for example.

Another question is about points in easysocial. What are they for? Is it posible, for example, that app google adsense is actived for users when they reach a certain number of points?

From a standard social network point of view, ES is in my opinion the most awesome extension in Joomla. But when it comes to using it for finances with stock I'm not so sure if it has much in that department. Unfortunately as of now ES does not have a rank system based on points as of now (to my knowledge anyways). I do believe there is a serious possibility of this coming out in the future.

Hey Emilio,

Hm, not really sure what difficulties are you having with EasyBlog. Perhaps you could elaborate more about the issues that you are facing with EasyBlog?

Currently EasySocial doesn't have any "financial" apps but since EasySocial is extensible, I don't see a problem with creating an app that supports your stocks / financial tools

To be honest, let's be realistic here, EasySocial is only $89 (for starters) and if you expect it to perform exactly as what you want, I don't think any software would be suitable for you out of the box

Hello. Thanks for yours opinions.

Regarding points easysocial, It has not yet become clear to me how the points and rewards work. I wonder if for example it is possible to reward a user with the application "google adsense" in your profile after getting "x" points for posting in the forum (kunena), or other easysocial activities, and if this can be configure automatically.

Hey Emilio,

Unfortunately rewards are purely "achievements" and it doesn't perform such actions. There isn't a "marketplace" per-se for rewards system.
