Hi StackIdeas friends,

The issue was reported by several members of my social network and actually I have experience this too.

It appear that everytime, new blog entry is published the author receive 3-4 same emails, that article is published.

Not quite sure what it is causing this, but certainly problem appear for few months.

Kind regards
Kal
Hello Kaloyan,

Ah, if you setup the "Send email on page load", there's highly chances of duplicate e-mails when 2 visitors or more access the site at the same second This is one of the main reasons why we advise users to use cronjob instead.

Hello Kaloyan,

How is the current cronjob created for the site and what is the interval set? Also, how many subscribers do you have on the site?

Ah this is something that I've forgot to setup. About 2 months ago, I migrate to new webhosting and forgot to set the cronjob.
Will fix it now.

Cheers

Just set-up the cron jobs. I don't know how I forgot to do it, after website transfer.

Though I got a bit confused, as few of our members have subscribe as subscribers, but also receive an email as article author.

I think issue is fixed. I will monitor this in the next couple of days and will keep you updated.

Cheers
Kal

Cronjob didn't fix the issue, actually make things worse. In the last 2 submitted articles received 6 and 8 emails.

Hello Kaloyan,

Did you disable the "Send email on page load" option? Also, what is the interval of the emails? Ideally it should be within 10 - 15 minutes so no overlapping occurs.
