Hello,

With publications with multiple images, I noticed that it was often difficult to distinguish the dots indicator at the bottom of the images.
The user therefore does not know that there are several images to discover

Shouldn't we be inspired by Instagram, for example, where the dots indicator are placed outside the image ?

The other good idea is the presence of a text indicator at the top right of the post. 1/4 in the example.

You will find screenshots attached.

Thank you for your excellent work,
Philippe
Hi Phillipe,

Thank you for your feedback.

Regarding the position of the dots buttons, our teams find it is a matter of preferences.
Some user prefer it to be inside while other prefers it outside of the image.
As the current implementation our team decide to place it inside.

However we are always open for new ideas and improvements,

Perhaps you can make a post, in https://stackideas.com/voices/esnative instead.
Our developers will evaluate the necessity of implementing of said feature via the number of voting from the post.

The other good idea is the presence of a text indicator at the top right of the post. 1/4 in the example.

In regards to this, unfortunately with our current implementation. Having the number count is not a viable option at the moment.

This is because to optimise bandwidth usage we have limited the photo stream to only maximum of 5 photos.
On the subsequent photos, user will have to tap and open the Photo Modal instead of scrolling to view more photos.

Hence, the number count indicator can lead to a confusion for user to scroll instead of taping to view more photos from the dashboard.

regads,
Hasif.

Thank you Hasif for your quick response and explanations.

The Instagram model seems more suitable, because dots are always visible regardless of the images displayed. The proof with the examples above.

I added my Feature Request here :

Have a nice day,
