In payplans auto-renewal works in the case of recurring payments only (for example. If you have a plan with number of recurrence is 5 then the plan will auto-renew for 5 times and after that it will get expired and once the plan gets expired then user need to renew the plan by themselves.)

In case of one time payment, User need to renew the plan by themselves after the expiration of the plan.

You can create an plan to provide user with an option to renew the plan.
To create an renewal plan please find this setting go to Payplan beckend>>Plans>>Renewals>> create a new renewal plan here.
