Hi. I'm using JomSocial since 2009 and interesting in migration to EasySocial.

One of the reason is: Private Group's videos are not available in main "Video" gallery.
To find this private videos, user need first to navigate to Private Group.

I made this at EasySocial demo:
1) navigated to group page
2) added video to group
3) navigate to main "Videos" gallery
Result: Gallery doesn't display group's video.
Is it a temporary bug or designed like that and will not be changed?
Expected result: main "Videos" gallery should display member's videos and group's videos.

May be it should be like this (look at the screen attached).

Yes, this is current default behaviour, it will not show those group/event/page video on this video listing page.

It is actually excluded by default due to privacy concerns. For instance, if your group / event is private it wouldn't make sense for these items to also show up on these listings.

I suppose that users gain this problem:

To find group’s albums and videos user need to check all 100+ groups (visit every group)... Also public group’s videos doesn’t get enough attention / views (because videos are not available in “all videos” section) and that’s why active members don’t want to add videos to groups. It’s real case for me.

May be user can check stream (activity), but it’s not the best way.

My JomSocial site’s users says: «I press “Videos” menu item and want to see ALL videos (members, group’s, event’s) that available for me (and from my private groups too).»

Is it possible to do in future release of EasySocial?

Or may be it possible to make filter (group’s videos, events videos, members videos, ALL VIDEOS) like on screenshot of my first post?

Can you please consider it?

Currently we doesn't plan for change this behaviour the way how it display on the video listing page.

But we will consider if there a lot of user request this to change this behaviour, we will definitely consider to add this in the future version.
