Hello Esther,

If you want to add css codes, you should do this in your template's css file. You need to FTP into your site and modify the css file that your Joomla template provides. I can't really tell for sure what the exact location is but if you can provide us with the link to the site, I can tell you which css files are being generated by your Joomla template
