Does easy blog support native document embeds, so that my members can embed their PPT, DOC, DOCX etc.. files directly in their blogs for insite vieweing. (Not as a attachment)

I'm sorry but it is not possible. Just want to mention that we do have File block: http://screencast.com/t/Y0caLbji6R . Since you don't prefer attachment, there is no other block that can accomplish your requirement.
