Does easyblog don't support set category as container?

Hi:
I found easyblog doesn't support set category as container.
That is correct. EasyBlog doesn't have a container settings for category.

Any reasons for that? Or it is just a unresolved feature?

We don't have the intention on creating a container category on EasyBlog because we don't see any reasons for it being there in the first place. You are more then welcome to post them under the feature request area
