Do you need easy discuss install to work with group discuss in ES?

If so, is there another option to use kunena forum as group discuss?
The Discussions in Groups in V1.2 are independent of EasyDiscuss Discussions.

Yep, that's correct but you will hit errors on 1.2 beta 1 because I missed out some of the SQL queries in the sql file

Beta 1.2 is looking great so far Mark. I have been waiting for groups to put my site online and uninstall jomsocial for good. I am excited
