My website is for a small monthly newspaper. We have many writers, they just send in articles and it is us who upload the articles to the website. In order to display the authors' information ( avatar, title, name etc.) I have to create a Joomla account for each one of them, which they will never use to login. This feels like a little redundant. I am aware there is a "Author Alias" field, but that won't help with displaying anything else but a name.

Is there a way to create authors that are not Joomla users?
