Hi everyone,

thought i would let you know that dj-classifieds RC 3.3 is out. It is about to be integrated with EasySocial - just one final thing to work out between the developers and stackideas before the plugin for EasySocial is released - exciting times .

I have been working with it for about a month now and so far loving it.

Kind regards

Mel

Hi Mark,

I believe they are waiting for something from you before the plugin is released. Any idea how long that 'whatever it is' will take?

Kind regards

Hello Mel,

I'm sorry but our developers are now tight with Easyblog 5 and Easysocial 1.4. They need to put any other development on hold first until everything has completed.

Hi Justin,

thanks for letting us know.

I just installed it and well pleased. I would just like to say that the chaps at dj extensions have been a breath of fresh air to work with. They appear to have the same work ethic as Stackideas team and offer great support. We need more extension developers to be like them.

I sent them a couple of suggestions i.e. to integrate with Komento (done within a couple of weeks), EasySocial integration (done within 6 weeks - as this required working with Stack team who had their own priorities ) and after testing their beta/RC and feeding back issues/suggestions (all implemented within the week!).

I accepted that the norm is to expect to spend endless weeks further tailoring and fixing components to meet my particular needs, but this has been a dream. My only criticism would be that they don't offer help forums (so we can look for solutions without always having to bother them), but that said, their support service can't be faulted.

I did hint that maybe they can develop some of the other apps we desperately want to work with EasySocial etc. but expect there would need to be a demand for them to consider introducing new components.
