I still don't get the idea of this, maybe because I do not understand how DJ Classified works but if you could provide a proper workflow about this, we'll see if this can be implemented but I do not think we can implement this in 4.2.

With Dj-Classifieds you can use a payment system or pay with points (x points = x$) price is set in options of Dj-Clsssifieds categories
We would like an app in PayPlans to buy DJ-Classifieds Points (in Dj Classifieds x points are needed to place an advert)
For Dj-Classifieds need something similar to the existing Apps for SobiPro / JReviews
PayPlans is the core of our income ecosystem... we need as many component integrations as possible to monetize !!

If I understand this right, our first baby step is to create an app that allows users to buy plans and with the plan that they purchased, they would then be given points in DJ Classifieds, is that right?

This could by a way, yes ! , the main idea is to be able asign points for dj-classifieds in payplans plans

Okay, I am getting a little confused with DJ Classifieds

1. I created a category which requires points for user to submit to the category, https://take.ms/9rP3Q

2. Upon creating the listing, my points is still not deducted:

Am I doing anything wrong here? I don't understand the relationships between the user points at the back end. Once it is deleted, then the points is removed from the user account?

Ok, you as admin created a category when all users will pay 10p. When they choose to submit ads on that category, take a look on the ad item if it is published or not. When the ad item submited by you as a frontend user on that category and it is published on that category you will take -10p. , right !?

The users buy points need it to pay their listing based on the prices set on backend ( certain kind of listings, category, way that the user want to be viewed his listing etc. )

you have Free option activated on the price

If I uncheck the free option and set a price, it always force me to make payment. It does not allow me to use points to purchase. How do you do that?

put 0 and free on off on price with money and set only the price with points ... I gues )

It works Mark? ... I didn’t test it yet in my website... to set a payable category... I’m concentrate to make an import from a feed over there and tests some ideas to adapt component in my ES based website.
But anything that I can do to help you with the development of new integration or other ideas , if I’ll can, well here I am ...

Nope, it does not work. If I uncheck the free option, and save, the free is automatically checked unless I state a price. But the moment I state a price, it asks me for payment instead of points, https://take.ms/cyolH

Yes, they complicated the user flow about payments with point a parity between currency and points it is a little bit confused ... But this is an experience that should inspired you to make in payplans also a better way to pay plans subscription with ES points app.

Ofcourse I did... but I was thinking why not unify into a sigle place dj-points plans system ... in this case in payplans ...

When selecting "Use Points Packages: Yes only points payments"
you activate the "Points Packages" what this does is when creating a new advert on top of the new advert page it displays a link to the points packages page then there on that points packages page you have to buy points packages with curency payment...
Doing it so you are still buying points (money with payment system) and not using EasySocial points or PayPlans ...

is ok ! This will unify the plans between payplan and dj plans system and will make an easy flow Subscription plans for users.
Also, I suggest for payplans ESpoints app to work as an alternative way of payment, especialy designed to renew the payplans subscriptions. Which now is not possible. This way the ES points will be more used in the system.

My suggestion was about ES points app from payplans, but I’ll start a new topic about this, not get bouth confusions.

An app in PayPlans is one thing...
But if I go deeper in the payment flow, Dj-Classifieds needs a payment plugin !
We have then 2 options :
1- ESpoint payment plugin (direct connection with ES points)
2- PayPlans plugin (plan + app is needed in PayPlans)

Correct me if i'm wrong...

They allready have a - ESpoint payment plugin (direct connection with ES points) in payplans. So the unification could be set.

There could be a more simplified way to do this, please try to follow my idea:

1- A Dj-Classifieds Payment plugin: Dj-Classifieds Pay With EasySocial Points (Pay with Points)
2- If the user has enough ES points, points are deducted directly - Done
3- If the user does not have enough points, he is redirected to a PayPlans Plan to buy Easysocial Points

1. Mark ( stackideas ) develop for its own components which is normal, not for DJ and DJ have allready a payment plugin that allow you to buy with ESpoints adverts in DJ.

Bogdan, it is a plugin between Dj-Classifieds AND EasySocial so StackIdeas would be extending EasySocial integretion like they did for example with Kunena or K2 ...
