In the back-end editor, no apparent option available or default config to make the selected image the link rather than posting the url aside the image. This format makes no sense...the image should be the link or only the url. Option available in editor turns off the image but does not work properly when image set to 'on'. Result of current format distorts the image in favor of showing the url in the same 'div'. See extensive notes in the screen capture.

If I created this in Dreamweaver, I would consider the link appearing aside the image, improper HTML - see http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp (section: Using an Image as a Link).

Hi Tkabe,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Thanks for your feedback and your suggestion. We've fixed the link block internally so that the 'link' will be a anchor link and the image is clickable. Also, we've fixed some styling issue with this link block. Please see http://screencast.com/t/pJs2KK5mFOif

The fix will be add into next release which we will be releasing very soon

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hey there,

Sorry but I am not really sure what you are referring to here. What do you mean by "make the selected image the link"? Can you please advise?

This is standard html to use an image with href - see my screen capture. The url appears aside the image. The image is not part of the url - also see my url posted In my first message for the standards website documenting the proper html method regarding using an image as url link with the a href tag.

The question is, why does easy social generate an image with the url aside the image? This is not proper html. The screen capture shows how easy social generated the image and url. Can you fix this issue?
