Displaying Ads on site

Hi,

my client would like to display ads in standard sizes on the site, these must be editable by Admin. Ideally there would be an HTML editable region in each of the places shown with red arrows on attachment, so that the Admin can upload new images, or at some point in the future, replace them with Google Adsense code

As an aside, it would be really useful to have a 'HTML module' that could be placed anywhere with a line of code in the PHP file.

Please let me know what the options are.

Hey Marcus,

What I think you could do is to create a new custom html module in Joomla and insert your html codes in that module. Then place these modules in the respective position of your templates where you want them to appear

Hi Mark,

We have tried using the random image module, but when we add the image folder string, it just appears in the front end with 'no images' even though there are some images in the folder listed.

Any ideas why this is?

How do we go about getting the ads down the right hand side, like in our attachment? We want the position to be linked to Easy Social, so only logged in people can see the adverts.

Not really sure which right hand side are you referring to. Can you please elaborate more on this please?
