I am unable to find a setting to change what is displayed on a search of EasyDiscuss. I do get results, but it only shows the title. How do you add in a short teaser of text, like 100 words or something, to make the results more usable?

There is no setting to do this currently at this point of time.
Please consider this an official feature request. Results that only show subject are less than helpful when you have a bunch of replies as you cannot tell which is which.
But you can submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new suggestion at https://stackideas.com/voices/easydiscuss so that everyone else can vote for it.
