Display post thumbnails in single category listing

Hi,

I have a menu item type of 'single category'. The posts in that category are listed down the page but it's text only. Is there any way I can add just a small thumbnail image with the text so that each post will have the intro text (with Read More button) plus a small 'teaser' image?

I've tried all sorts of settings via the component but can't get one to show and I'm sure someone has already requested or mastered this.

Is there a category listing template that can be adjusted to add the image.

Hello Andrew,

The single category view should have a image if the post has a photo cover in it. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? You can edit the question to add the site details.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes I understand that the post needs to have a cover image as I've tried that many times. At the moment I've added a cover image and in the post listings I would like each one to look like this




( There would be 15 of these going down the page) but then when the post is opened after clicking on 'Continue Reading ' they get to see the full size image. That way I can fit more posts on the single category listing page as they all have small thumbnail images rather than the full size cover image.

Is it possible to do this?
