Question regarding the Forum vs Voices. I have used voices in the past and its probably been 20% effective in terms of seeing what I want add to different aspects of StackIdeas products. Or in some cases an item is vote up, set to be delivered but doesn't. My suggestion would be to do the following:
- Remove the "Feature Request" section from the forums, this is confusing and results in messages like above that could have been focused on a true support request
or
- Leave the "Feature Request" but have it re-direct to the User Voice Section based on the extension the user is trying to write the post about.
I would also recommend viewing the SalesForce User Voice system. It is very similar to StackIdeas but I feel like the staff is more in tune there. I feel like my post above and User Voice Submission may have no relevance to anyone else, or may drop to the bottom of the list:

The way SalesForce handles their User Ideas (what they call it) is that it must reach a certain number of Likes. Once it reaches that threshold it is then sent to their product team for review. If they accept it they provide a timeline when to expect the relase, not vs. 2.7 they simply say Fall 2016, or December 2016.
