I did a "feature post" from the frontend by logging in as super user and it worked fine. I am getting the same screen as yours. Is it possible the issue happens when a post is featured through the backend??

Yes you are right. After testing, the issue does occur when the post is featured from the backend. It seems that the system is trying to find the translation from the backend language file. I will log this issue in our tracker so the devs can investigate this.
In the meantime, I have added the translation in your backend language file. This will take effect on newly generated notifications.
