Regarding your issue, I tried to login to your Joomla backend but the login credential failed to authenticate me. Same for your FTP account, server returned login failed

Anyway, can you try the attached javascript file and copy the file to folder 'JOOMLA/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/blogs/latest/' and overwrite the existing file 'featured.js'.

Once you've copy over the file, you might need to clear your web browser cache.

Let me know if the js file fixed your issue or not.

No luck, I still cannot login to your Joomla ( both frontend and backend ) and the ftp failed to authenticate me as well. Is your site block IPs for certain country? If yes, this is our office IP ( its on dynamic IP and it change from time to time )

If you are referring to this Featured slider in your EasyBlog frontpage, you can find the setting at your EasyBlog menu item (Posts Frontpage type ) under 'Featured' tab. Please see http://screencast.com/t/1Pyeno6aUh

it's working now, but after this fix the buttons are not working anymore and the slider is not displaying on all pages.

For example I have 6 posts with the setting to display 5 on the front page and rest of them on the next pages, once I go to the next page, the second page, the featured area is gone though the setting in the menu item is to display on all pages.

I'll look into the FTP problem.

May I know are you on the latest version of easyblog (version 5.0.11)? If not perhaps you can update your easyblog to the latest first and see how it goes? By right this issue should have been addressed in the current release of easyblog.

Regarding on your joomla backend and FTP access we still having difficulties to access your site thus preventing us to perform some debug on your site properly. Please advise.

I've updated and the problem is the same. Same bugs plus images on item pages are gone now and some settings in the back-end are changed to default.

On the other topic here: http://stackideas.com/forums/comments-not-displaying-after-update , it looks like you've managed to login to our website. Could you please use the login data submitted by me on that topic and see if it works?

Until then I'm in the process of looking to see exactly what is the problem with my hosting provider.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I've checked your site and your template file and it seems like you have created an override for the featured file in your template folder. When I renamed featured.php inside your /templates/rt_anacron/html/com_easyblog/blogs/latest into featured.php_bak, the slider is working correctly now.
