Hello,

It is now possible to add Hashtags to a publication.
However, my users do not know that this is possible, and above all how to do it.
To remedy this, the ideal would be to display just below the suggestions of Hashtags.
The most popular or the newest hashtags.

I did a simulation. Here are in pictures :
Step 1

Step 2

Do you think this is feasible ?
Because Hashtags is a very good tool for classifying publications.
But it is under exploited.

Thank you,
Philippe
I do not think this is a good idea simply because the entire form looks overly complicated. Imagine having the story form, hashtag browser as well as the mood all opened at once. It's going to be extremely messy.

Thank you for your feedback Mark.
I understand.
In this case, this tool could be accessible via a button, alongside People, Location and Mood buttons ?

This still does not convince me because it poses another problem. If you have 100k tags, how do you render this to your users? If you say pagination, what if your user wants to access something at page 234 to browse for a specific tag? Do remember that we are dealing with a very large subset of data created by anyone on the site.

Secondly, if there are just variation of tags because of a difference in character, it becomes extremely redundant.

Now, how would you know Facebook and Twitter supports hashtags if there aren't any information about it in the form when you are posting something?

I see that this idea does not please you
I will not insist.

Moreover, about the Story Form, what would be very interesting is to be able to select the group in which to publish, and that since the Story Form of the user.
It will be able to publish in a Group more easily.

Reddit offers something interesting in this spirit.
He even proposes to search for a community.

I had posted a feature request about this.

I think this is a different feature altogether. If you already have posted this under the feature request area, we'll check them out before working on the next release
