Hello!

We have an extensive blog, but only one author. So rather than having the same avatar posting redundantly on the front page, we are hoping there is a way to insert the category icon for the post in the avatar spot instead.

I didn't see such an option in the theme setup. Is there? If not, what is the best way to accomplish this?
Hello,

I'm sorry. Please use this file instead. And I believe the image is already displayed: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-12-05_1532.png

Thank you for the fast response, Nick. Very close!

It is displaying the text string for the image, but not the image.

string(68) "http://.../images/easyblog_cavatar/10_cat-cloud.jpg"

Hooray, Nick! This is exactly as I need it to be for the front page view.

I think, though, from a full entry view, we still need to post the author name, particularly as it is addressed by RSS feed.

Any way to still post the author name in full entry?

Hello,

I don't quite get you here. The hacks which Nik provided earlier is only to hide the avatar and not the name.

Hello, Mark - Yes...the hack did create the desired results. We had disabled "posted by" in our original attempts to manage the display, but have enabled it and now have the desired result.
