Are you referring to Easydiscuss or built in discussion actually? If you are referring to Easydiscuss, you need to buy this apps https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3320-easydiscuss-group first, download and install them on your site in order to use them on your groups.

If built-in discussion, you can check them whether you have enabled this http://take.ms/GyjLW apps or not. Please advice.

GRID LAYOUT for photos - I don't see it - opening an album just shows images indiviadually.

Yes it can be synced, and you need to download those apps as referred on my previous reply.

By the way, those discussion(built-in as stated on our tour) are only available within groups, pages and events only. You can find them under 'More' sections as you can see here http://take.ms/WDyzL.

Honestly i ambit lost here actually. May i know which view are you referring right now? Is it Easyblog or photos on easysocial? Can you provide us with more details for better understanding on your requirement here.
