I believe the answer is “no”, but I wanted to ask, just to make sure. Is it possible to have the discussions app in an EasySocial group have categories? I would love to have the benefits of EasySocial online connecting, with a more highly organized discussion system in one of my online groups.
I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Currently, it is only possible to configure which group category allows the user to post a discussion to the Easydiscuss, you can check my attached screenshot below.

If you highlighted the group category "General" from the app access control, mean only this group who posts to this "General" group category then only allow the user to post a discussion to the Easydiscuss.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a public holiday for us here.

Do you mean that you would like the system to force users to post to the specific category in Easydiscuss when they click the create discussion button from the Easysocial group?

For example:

1. Easysocial group A - must post to Easydiscuss category A

2. Easysocial group B - must post to Easydiscuss category B

No. I would like one of my EasySocial groups to be able to choose to post/browse in one of 3 categories.
