I maintain a blog that does a lot of reviews. We have to have a disclosure statement at the top of each blog post citing the fact we received compensation, or a sample, etc. This can vary per post on what it needs to say. Unfortunately, when the intro text auto publishes to facebook, and the front page of the blog, it shows this disclosure line. It would be GREAT if there was a separate field in the blog entry for a disclosure statement that you could choose NOT to show in the intro text and the auto publish.

If anyone has a solution they use to deal with this, please share as well!

Thanks!

Hello Michelle,

I'm sorry there is no feature for that but you could try place the text somewhere at the middle or bottom so it would not be picked up as intro text?
For a shortcut solution, you could try and make a CSS hack to display your disclosure at the top even-though it is written in your post at the bottom:p

hope that helps,
if you need further assistance please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access on your site?

Thanks:)

That's why I posted it as a feature request!

I can't put the statement in the middle or the bottom per regulations. It HAS to be at the top.
