Disallowed username - remove case sensitive?

Under user workflow, field tab, disallowed username list - is it possible to remove case sensitivity? For example, if I disallow the username MikeSmith, it still allows the registration of all lowercase, mikesmith.
Seems dependent on regular expression validator?

Hi there,

It seems that there are issues on our end where it should check those disallowed username regardless it capital letter or small letter and etc.

I have logged this issues internally and will included them on our next release version.
