I have the latest version of EasyDiscuss installed (3.2.9289 ) along with Joomla 3.2 -- in the back end I have set up my "Guest" group on the "Maintenance" page to group 16 and I have turned off the ability for "Guests" to ask questions, comment or to vote on questions or answers. When logged in on a "Guest" account, the discussion pages do correctly state that I am not allowed to reply and it does not show me the comment option, but it does still allow me to vote.

I have both "Allow guest to vote question" and "Allow guest to vote reply" set to No on the [ Components > Easy Discuss > Settings > Voting ] page.

Is there something I'm missing?
Hello K Scott Piel,

I have checked in your Joomla backend setting, i noticed you're using the different user group for guest right (0: Guest - user group)?
Because this 2 option "Allow guest to vote question" and "Allow guest to vote reply" is by default the real guest, that option is not able to control the 0: Guest user group, only for public user group.
Also, we do not have this feature in the ACL setting for vote under the user group user.

What would be the correct means for me to send you the login information for that? I obviously don't want to do that in a public forum.

FTP is not enabled on my site, should you need to upload files we'll have to arrange that or you can use the Joomla! extension manager.

Sounds like a feature request to me then ~smile~

Okay... thank you for looking into it and I guess I'll deal with it for now. But I really would like to see ACL supported for voting.
