Disabling the EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog settings button.

How can I deactivate the Settings buttons which are displayed on the Vanilla template by the "EasyDiscuss - Navigation Button Module" and the "EasyBlog - Navigation Button Module"? See attached screen capture.

And how can I change the tooltips for the remaining buttons?
You can ignore this request. I have decided to use the ES notifications sitewide.
