How can I disable the Groups and Apps widgets on the ES Profile page (see attached)?

FYI, I cannot provide site login info as its not online yet.
Hi Adam,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You can disable the group widget from your backend > Easysocial > application > find this app "User — Groups" > click widget tab > Display Groups In Profile - NO

But unfortunately we do not have setting to disable this "App" section you point to. Unless you can use css to hide it.

Don't suppose you can advise what needs to be done to the CSS to remove the App section?

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can take a look of that page html structure?

As mentioned in my original post, the site is not online yet.

If necessary, I suppose I can delay this modification until after it is online.

Are you just trying to hide its display via CSS or remove the CSS entirely?

If you're using an unmodified stock template I'm sure you can at least be pointed in the right direction.

You could also take out the PHP used to generate that widget within the template. I'm on mobile at the moment so I can't check which files, but it's easy to do; I used those snippets to change the order the widgets displayed in.

Hello David Montoya,

Yes, you're right. But I would like to inspect the css element and using css to hide it, so if the user want revert back the changes, so it just remove the css code as well. By the way, thanks for your suggestion.

Hi Adam,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Since I can't access in your site, you can temporary remove this code from your JoomlaFolder\templates\wanderers\html\com_easysocial\profile\default.php

LINE 40 until 122

Hope this help.
