Hi guys,

i'm trying to limit the access to the users for a specific page, basically what i need is to have one of the pages to be open for posting only for it's admins. As it is now all users who like the page can post to it's timeline. i need all users to be able to see the posts, but only the admins to post on it. Let me know if you need any additional info.

regards
B.
Hey there,

You can achieve it by following the steps below:
1. Go to your site backend > Components > EasySocial > Custom Fields > Workflows > Page Workflow > click the '+' which is Insert New Custom Field https://take.ms/XFDBC > select the Stream Permissions from the Unique tab https://take.ms/lhCCx > save your changes.

2. Go to Page > select the page you were mentioning > in the Details tab at Page information you can see the custom field that you added > tick the checkbox Allow admins to post into this page https://take.ms/WSlGn > save your changes.

You can check from your frontend if is working fine and update us if anything

Working like a charm, thank you!

btw i think this should be added by default, it's hard to find it in the options and it's a feature which is needed.

Hi there,

You are most welcome:) Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now:D

Thank you very much for your suggestion. We will definitely give it some serious consideration if other users also recommend this feature to be made default in the workflows. We really value your opinion and do always share such ideas with us. Thank you again

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusions in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
