We don't currently have a settings for this but I hear you and understand this. Will add a settings for this in the next release of EasyBlog. By the way, does it help if the alerts are blue rather than red?

Thanks for understanding. The color doesn't matter, its more the message. If it was a simpler message like the standard update available, it would be preferred. I think having the whole hackers copy is the problem - fine if it is a security update, but otherwise it is a bit scary to clients.
