disable rss

Hello

When i disable the system/settings/stream and select Allow RSS Subscriptions to no, i am still able to use the link site.name/?format=feed&type=rss i thought that disabling rss stops that as well

Also when i have enabled rss it shows users email address's how do i remove user emails from the rss feed ( fact being spambots could and will use them )

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Yes, that option is just disable the link but if manually access the RSS link it will still available one.

Regarding with your second question, you can disable it from your backend > system > global configuration > Site > Feed email - No email
