Hello,

I've disabled EB5 subscriptions site-wide as well as all other subscriptions options, but can't find the option to disable the composers 'Notify Subscribers' option. If you could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Hey Justin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Hm, good catch. If these options are disabled, then the "Notify subscribers" button should no longer be visible. Currently they are actually checking against the ACL . All you need to do is to go in to the ACL settings of EasyBlog and for each group, disable the rule "Change Subscription Settings When Composing Blog Post".

I will add a fix internally so that in the next version, if all these subscription options are disabled, the user shouldn't see this on the composer as well

Okay, I was wrong. As long as the option highlighted here http://screencast.com/t/LrUlN5woLxMp is disabled, your author's would not see the option.

Thanks Mark,

I actually tried that for my 'Registered Users' ACL (see screenshot), but it's still displays in the composer. No rush ... it can wait for the next version.

Seems I forgot to attached screenshot, and editing my previous response won't upload. I'll try here...

Have that one set to no as well but it's still showing for the registered user/author

I am indeed (5.0.23)! I'm working on the project on my localhost but will try to have it online in the coming days.

Hey Justin,

Great, let me know when it is available online because when looking at the codes, that option will not appear unless you have that "Entry" option enabled.

Hello,

I've uploaded to a test server so that you can view on your end.

Thanks.

Hi Justin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. I've applied the fix inside your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/composer/panel/post.php and it should be working correctly now. You can either disable the option from backend > easyblog > settings > general > subscription or from your backend > easyblog > ACL settings.
