Hi all,

I am trying to restore public access to my blog (menu item >Was denn< on artigral.com), but it seems that the blog can only be accessed via a member login form. I don't know where the login requirement came from in the first place, it wasn't there initially.

I have been disabling all settings that require a login or registration, I also checked the menu and category settings, and the options for >public< and >guest< users - yet the login form still appears, no matter whether it is provided by Easyblog or by Joomla.

Do I miss the obvious? Any help is highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Stefan
I've checked on your site, it seems like you added this menu type "(Posts) My Blog" which requires the user to log in first in order to see the current logged user blog post.

If you want to show a certain category on your blog listing page, I would suggest you change your menu type to use "(Categories) Single Category" or "(Posts) Frontpage" so you can filter to which category you would like to show the blog post on the page.

Hope this will help.

Hi Arlex,
I tried both options, but unfortunately, the login form is still appearing. It seems that the login request is triggered each time the blog page starts loading.

Thanks a lot anyway.

Alright, now the changed menu type works without login. It just took a couple of hours to implement the new setting.

Thanks again for solving this issue!
