I'm wondering if there's a way to not display in the feed every time someone becomes friends with someone else. It's completely filling up the feed and pushing everything else down.

We encourage everyone to friend everyone else, so when a user logs in and has 10 friend requests and accepts them all, we get 10 news feed items that say "this user is now friends with this user."

Is this a simple fix? Can someone tell me how?

The whole friend feature is somewhat useless for us, actually. I would prefer it if the site automatically made everyone friends with everyone else since this is not a public site where anyone can register. It's only for employees and we want everyone's activity to be seen by everyone else.

Thank you
Hey Matt,

Most of the activity streams generated by EasySocial can be configured in the app. The apps are located under EasySocial > Applications. In this case, you should search for the "Friends" app and disable the option shown here, http://take.ms/WTVRL

I have turned this off for you and you will no longer see activity streams of successful friendships.
