Is there any way to disable all email notices for ES?

Chaim
Hi Ck,

Currently it is not possible to turn off the email notifications globally but you can disable the email from being send out by disabling the following settings from backend > easysocial > settings > general > systyem > send emails on page load and then disable the cron job that related to easysocial.

Other than that unfortunately it is not possible currently.

I wouldn't mind, but need the other items triggered in the cron job; any other options?

The easiest way is for you to delete the file /components/com_easysocial/includes/cron/hooks/email.php

@mark, I dont want to start messing with the core files as they will be overridden by the next update.

I added it as a feature request, can be found at https://stackideas.com/forums/disable-email-notifications-1

Hi CK,

Thanks for the voices. We will see what we can do to improve this behavior in the next major release of EasySocial.

Currently we didn't plan for this yet since you are the only one person requested this.

What my suggestion is you can try unpublished most of the email notification from backend > Easysocial > Alert page and see whether it will help much you here.
