Hello,

I'am trying to migrate my Jcomment comment to komento, but I have some difficulties.

As you can see on attached files:

- The progress bar don't process
- Migrated comments stay on 0
- Comments are transfered, but all goes on the same article.

I let you know that my Jcomment has been customized,but i don't know whats exaclty has been changed.

Can you help my with this problem?
Thank you very much

Romaric

Hey there,

May i know what do you mean "my Jcomment has been customized"?

By the way, may i know your existing Komento comment data all is migrated from Jcomment?

If yes, can I have the permission to remove all of your migrated comment data from Komento then re-migrate again?

Also can you provide us with your FTP and database access? You can add at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site page.

Hello,

Jcomments front end layout has been modificed. Now the users can recording their voice and send voice comments. Also Jcomment database has changed (news entry)

Yes, you can delete all comments (Komento) an migrate again (from Jcomments)

Thank you very much

You're welcome.

- Is there a way to didin't show <br/> in the comment?

May i know which article page comment showing this <br/> html tag?

- When someone want to leave a message, how i configure a alert message like this: "name require", "email require" etc... ?

Currently we do not have any alert message for this, but from the backend setting you can set which field need to be required, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

- Is it dangerous, if i am not use re-capacha for public?

To me I would said it not consider is dangerous, but that will avoid some people trying to spam comment on your site.

Hey there,

I've checked in your site, it seems like Jcomment store these <br> tag in database and different from Komento structure so It populate those <br> tag on the comment.

By the way, I've applied some fix in this file /public_html/templates/yoo_moreno/html/com_komento/comment/item/text.php, it should work fine now, can you give it a check now?

You're welcome.

Ops, I totally forget you have asking another issue regarding the mobile view.

I've applied some fix in this file -> /public_html/templates/yoo_moreno/css/custom.css

@media (max-width:768px) {
div#section-kmt.kmt .col-cell {
display: table-row-group !important;
}
}

It should work fine now, but if the reply level at number 3rd, it will not show the properly the layout is because that is no more extra space for mobile, then I have help you set this `Maximum Reply Level` to 1 from your backend Komento setting, so for those new comment reply, it will not show more than 2 reply level.

E.g. : http://take.ms/0OpOl

Hello,
Thank you very much
It works fine on mobile now.

However, I can't not see anymore the reply link.

I really need a higher level of reply (at less 5) because I use comment to help my students to learn french. Than I put `Maximum Reply Level` to 5 again.

Thank you one more time for the great support.

Hm, may i know which user account not appear the reply link from your site?

Because it seems work fine if you login as admin, I suspect that is related with the user ACL permission.
