And see how it goes.

do i need to keep this fix or will it be included in next release ?

for B/ "issue"
no changes... i still have 2 different url !!
but i start to understand why... maybe it's because i refer to 2 different pages ?
a "group category list" : .../groupes/5-asie-destinations-voyages
and a "group category layout" : .../destinations-voyages/asie

menu link can be created for "group category layout" (that is what i have already done)
but i couldn't found how to create a menu link for "group category list"

How can i do that ?? or is it possible to no use group category layout page ??
That make a lot of pages... confusing for user

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I can't seems to replicate the issue in my local. When I click on the "view category" it have the same url as group category layout menu item url and not duplicate url. Perhaps you can provide us with Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?

Oh by the way the fix that my colleague provided in his previous reply will be included in the next release

I've inspected your group page site and also the group listing page from easysocial. Actually the page that you mentioned is not the same page. One is to display the listing of group category in general (quick view), http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-03_1701.png . The other one is the detailed page of the specific category that you have set, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-03_1701_001.png .

When I click on "Voir La Categorie" from here, /groupes/5-asie-destinations-voyages it actually redirect with the same url with your /destinations-voyages/asie. Refer my screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-03_1659.png

usually, url are closed
example for users :

and then :
http://easysocial.stackideas.com/connect/withphotos
http://easysocial.stackideas.com/connect/online


What i was expecting was something like :
.../destinations-voyages/asie
.../destinations-voyages/asie/dashboard


It make sense no ???

Unfortunately easysocial does not have this kind of menu item to display the category in general. However you can try to use menu item that point to the specific url, /groupes/5-asie-destinations-voyages by using System link menu item, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-04-03_2109.png

Umhh creating url menu link will have no effect on url rewriting...

Why didnt you take care of that during dev ? Why clean url for users, friends, profil, albums... urls (See my example in previous post) and not for groups categories urls ???

Stackideas usualy deliver clean and finished components... I am a bit surprised and disapointed

Any chances to have a fix for that in next release ??

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. What you are asking does not make any sense at all Both these urls serves a different purpose altogether. This is why the url links are entirely different. What you are asking is like "Why did windows invented the start button on the bottom left and not at the bottom right of the screen?"
