I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure this out.

The menu/search box at the top of the screen is not the same as the one at the bottom.

the file [1 - top] is what my users see at the top of the page. This is also want I want them to see at the bottom of the page; only one option - Forums.

The file [2 - bottom] is the menu/search box at the bottom of the page. It has Forums, but also Recent and Categories.

How do I make the bottom box match the one that is at the top of the page?
I've checked in your site, actually that is `Breadcrumbs` module which display on the page footer by default, if you would like to disappear this, I already disabled it for you, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

Even though Arles unpublished the bread crumbs in position 2 [file: response to help ticket] and provided this response:

I've checked in your site, actually that is `Breadcrumbs` module which display on the page footer by default, if you would like to disappear this, I already disabled it for you, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

I went into the module manager this evening. Even though it show position # unpublished, I turned options to see if it would have further effect. It didn't. I double check that it was still unpublished [File: module manager.

The breadcrumbs still appear at the top and the bottom of my pages. The site just opened and my new users are reporting some confusion, especially since the top and bottom breadcrumbs have different options.

The file: deaconworld.net displays the breadcrumbs as they appear at the top of the page. This what I want my users to see, a single option that takes them back to the forums.

The file: deaconworld.net bottom displays the breadcrumbs as they appear at the bottom of the page. Please notice that this breadcrumb menu has additional options - options I don't want.

I'm at a loss. There is only one entry for breadcrumbs; it's assigned to position two; and it's unpublished. Where else would these settings be? If for some reason I have to have breadcrumbs at the top and the bottom of the page, how can I make the bottom one match the top once?

Thanks

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like I misunderstand in earlier, I think you referring that is Easydiscuss statistics board, I already disabled it from backend, it should display as the same with your top and bottom now.

And I also help you enabled back that breadcrumb from your site, can you give it a check?

Thanks for your quick reply, especially on a weekend.

Unfortunately, there's been no change in what the user sees. At the top of the screen, the only option is "Forums" - which is what I want them to see. At the bottom of the screen there has been no change. At the bottom, in addition to "Forums"; they still have two additional options - "Recent" and "Categories".

Would it be easier to unpublish/disable the bottom menu? That would be fine with me and solve the issue quickly.

When I went to change positions, there was only one position option - position 2.

I was unable to determine which positions corresponded with the location on the screen. My research said that positions are not the same between templates. The template "Zink" is the published template. I thought in an earlier discussion your help desk had changed me to "Forum" template. That template, however, is not listed on my site. Here are the options I see:

1. Unpublish the bottom menu leaving the top menu as it is.
2. Correct the bottom menu so that it looks the same as the top. See file: botom deaconworld.net updated for the options I need removed.

Please do which ever of these is the easiest, but my preference is #1 - delete the bottom.

I have enabled breadcrumbs.

Thanks

1. Unpublish the bottom menu leaving the top menu as it is.

Do you mean you would like to disable that toolbar menu? Can you check my screenshot here? http://take.ms/qq8l2
If yes, you can easier to disable it from this toolbar module :

// without the semicolon ;
https://yourdomain.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_modules&view=module&layout=edit&id=112

2. Correct the bottom menu so that it looks the same as the top. See file: botom deaconworld.net updated for the options I need removed.

You can refer on my attached screenshot below, this is what is your current setting you set from the toolbar module. I already help you disabled "category" and "recent" link from the toolbar module, it should appear exactly same with the original toolbar at top header now.

By the way, if you would like to check how many module position available in your current template, you can follow my below step to discover it :

1. Access one of your front page e.g. https://replaceyourdomainhere.com/index.php/discussions
2. Then enter ?tp=1 on behind of the page URL e.g. https://replaceyourdomainhere.com/index.php/discussions?tp=1
3. So it will appear all the module position on that page and allow you to decide which module position you would like to display at.

Hope this time will help.
