dear friens,

i have some issues in my easyblog.
1) media manager vs chrome - its not possible to insert images in an article with the media manager when i use chrome. the window opens, but its not possible to upload images (front&backend). with ie it works.

2) after update to 5.0.29: when i insert a gallery with media manager at the bottom of the article, the images are always shown on the blog mainpage before the continiue reading.
i have truncation activated and the emebed images on "bottom". but in the preview on the mainpage they are alqays shown after cover image.
when i click in continiue reading they are shown at the bottom after the article.
i tried to change different settings, but nothing worked.

may you have a solution.
Hey Andreas,

I am not sure if this is related to the browser's cache, have you tried purging the browser's cache yet? Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hey Andreas,

i have some issues in my easyblog.
1) media manager vs chrome - its not possible to insert images in an article with the media manager when i use chrome. the window opens, but its not possible to upload images (front&backend). with ie it works.

Regarding this issue, I am still investigate on this and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
By the way, how to completely disable with you site cache?

2) after update to 5.0.29: when i insert a gallery with media manager at the bottom of the article, the images are always shown on the blog mainpage before the continiue reading.
i have truncation activated and the emebed images on "bottom". but in the preview on the mainpage they are alqays shown after cover image.
when i click in continiue reading they are shown at the bottom after the article.
i tried to change different settings, but nothing worked.

I've checked the code, it seems like current truncation settings is only for image, video, and audio, but the gallery is not possible to configure display on top/bottom position at this point of time. I will log this issue on our codebase and we will fix this in next release version.

To temporary fix this, you can hide that gallery image using following css code : (Apply on your current template css file)
div#fd.eb.eb-view-latest .eb-post-content [data-type="thumbnails"] {
display: none !important;
}

Hey Andreas,

Since we updated our forums last 2 days, we no longer can see your site detail in your reply section, can you provided us again with your Joomla backend and FTP access into http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site or edit your first post then put your site detail into these field.

By the way, may i know how to completely disable with you site cache?

I already help you updated to latest version 5.0.30 and this issue should be respect `position of gallery after truncation` setting when you want to adjust your blog gallery.

By the way, can you provide us with your FTP access so we can troubleshoot on your first issue which upload image is not working on Chrome and Firefox browser?

Hey Andreas,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Something is really strange because I tried to disable all the plugin, switch template and it still hitting this error (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/JSBK64TX )

What I noticed is when I click the `My Media` tab, it actually will make a ajax call search about this logged in user is there got any media folder exist, but I suspect your site have setup cloudflare cache feature, it might causing messed up Easyblog ajax call.

Can you consult with your Webhosting provider temporary disable `CloudFlare's caching` and `ajax CloudFlare` feature so that we can verify again and see is it related this thing or not.

Keep us updated then once your hosting disable it completely.

Hey Andreas,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,

It seems like after you turn off that CDN, it work fine now.

You can see my video here : http://screencast.com/t/WZCIDMvh

You can test on your Chrome browser and see how it goes? Before you test you have to make sure clear all of your browser cache.
