Hello

Sorry for this dummy question but I see that I can create a Event, a Discussion in a Page.
This is more or less the key feature of a Group.

What are the criteria to choose between create a Group or create a Page?

Beyond that, is a 'read me first' documentation already exist which explains the main 'object' we propose: Group, Event, Blog, Page, Article, etc.
It will save us a LOT of time to avoid to re-invent the wheel.

Thanks
Henri
A page isn't meant for collaboration and it is a page that provides information about an entity or company. A good example of a page would be BMW (company)

Groups on the other hand provides collaboration like have a BMW club but it isn't created by BMW themselves.

In our case, a marathon runners community, every marathon is a Group (ie. Group of 'Paris Marathon') where runners can have Conversations, set a Event (the Paris Marathon for 2018) and create a marathon story using the Blog from a Group.

And I see that members can have the same type of Conversations and Event for a Page.

That is why, for my usage, I don't see a clear separation between a Group and a Page.

It really depends on what your use cases are and it is entirely up to you. A page in your site could probably be for sponsors / companies
