I know you set up support for the Facebook accelerated pages and I followed the instructions and got it working. I am wondering if you have done the same for Googles Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP). I did read some threads here previously that it would be done in a version of EasyBlog5. Did this ever happen? It seems that AMP is not going away. :-)
Hey Sean,

If I recall correctly, Easyblog do not support with Googles Accelerated Mobile Pages in previously.

May i know which thread you looking for?

I saw some mention of this by Mark on the following two pages:

https://stackideas.com/forums/amp-accelerated-mobile-pages

https://stackideas.com/forums/accelerated-mobile-pages

My thinking is that many of us were in "wait and see" mode to see how it would take off. I believe that this is something that is probably here for the long haul now?

I am interested in your thoughts and whether having EasyBlog output the required AMP files would seem like a good idea and worth the effort. :-)

Thanks, Sean

:-) I do not know all the pros and cons but do see that it appears to be growing and gaining in popularity.

WordPress developed a plugin. I wonder if that would be the best approach for EasyBlog, if you decide to do it. :-)

Here is an FAQ page from Google:
https://www.ampproject.org/support/faqs/

This is the question that mentions WordPress:

How can a publisher get content into AMP HTML?
Publishers and Content Management System (CMS) providers can develop an integration with their CMS to generate AMP content. Automattic has already published a WordPress AMP plugin and we hope that all content management systems will add support for AMP HTML pages.

Thank you for considering it. I know you will make a good decision and trust your judgement.

It's tricky because a lot of HTML codes needs to be rewritten and Google is known for dropping support of their features pretty fast. We'll see how this goes.

I remembered when authorship was first released and it was then scrapped 2 years later.
