I have a section of our site that is sports related and where use a sports template in Joomla for this sections.

http://www.evangelacademy.com/evangel-sports

On this page we are using modules to display posts from Easy Blog. However when you click on the post it opens one a page that uses the default them and background for the school website.

How can i make an article post opened from a specific joomla template open on that same template?

Thanks,
David
Hello David,

You just have to include the menu under Assignment in that template: http://screencast.com/t/qheYatIE . Hope this helps.

So that will make all my items open on that template. I don't want that. I need items opened from a page opened on the same template. So for example when Items are opened from here http://www.evangelacademy.com/evangel-sports, to open on this template

But items from here http://www.evangelacademy.com/youth-sports, to open on this template.

I hope this makes sense to you.

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

Ah, I see. If that the case, it will be very tedious as you need to create a menu item for that particular entry (Single Post layout) and include them in the template Assignments.

Can we create a feature request to have settings to define the template that a easyblog category item uses?

Hello David,

Yes, you can create the feature request here: http://www.stackideas.com/voices/easyblog and our developer will get back to you.
