When i "Hide all items like this" from certain app in the feed, whenever that app creates new activity the dashboard sidebar still count the update and notifies me about it.
When i click on it, the notification just disappear and show me nothing new in the feed
Ofcourse it wont, as i just "Hide all items like that" and logically, i dont want to be notified about it

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, I've fixed the issue internally. Attached the fixed php file and please download the 'stream.php' file and copy to folder 'JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easysocial/models' and overwrite the existing stream.php. ( Remember to backend the original file first ).

Let me know if your issue resolved or not after apply the above fix
