Hello,

With EasySocial 2.2, you have deleted stock version for Photos.
and before, featured and square.

Can we delete photos in this format ( stock, square and featured), for photos loaded before the update or should we keep them for proper operation?

Regards

Frank
Hi Frank,

Yes it is alright to remove those variations from photos. But do note that for avatars, square versions are still being used.

Hey n00bster,

Not sure what you mean by 'wipe this images from stackideas'. Could you elaborate more or give some examples?

sorry, for me it sounds like that this image formats (stock, square and featured) are now obsolete are this right? when yes i meant that it would be cool when we could clean our Easysocial installations from unused image formats with on click or so from the ES backend

Hey n00bster,

Oh you are referring to the deletion of existing unused image variation files from EasySocial.

I will log this in our tracker to see if we can add a maintenance script in the future to remove those unused image size variations.
